Mixer Operator

Position details:

Our client, a busy bakery in North York, ON, is seeking an experienced Mixer Operator to join their production team. The role involves measuring and mixing ingredients to recipe and schedule, operating and monitoring industrial mixers, completing production records, performing quality checks, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and following GMP, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.

Must have skills and experience:

• Previous experience as a Mixer Operator or similar role in a bakery or food manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to read and follow recipes and production instructions accurately
• Basic math and measuring skills; experience verifying ingredient quantities and batch accuracy
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
• Knowledge of or willingness to follow GMP, food safety, and sanitation procedures; attention to detail and reliability
