Job Description:
Our client, a bakery located in North York, is seeking a QA Assistant to support the Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will help ensure all products meet food safety, quality, and company standards throughout the production process.
Responsibilities:
• Perform quality inspections on raw materials and finished products
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with GMP and food safety standards
• Record quality checks and maintain accurate documentation
• Report quality issues to the QA Supervisor and production team
• Verify product labels, lot codes, and packaging accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the production area
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Previous QA or food manufacturing experience is an asset
• Knowledge of GMP and food safety practices preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Good English communication skills
This is a full-time night shift position in a busy bakery production facility.
