Mixer Operator – Bakery

Job Description:

Our client, a busy bakery in North York, is looking for an experienced Mixer Operator to join their production team. In this role, you will be responsible for mixing ingredients according to recipes and production schedules while ensuring quality and food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and specifications

• Operate and monitor industrial mixing equipment

• Verify ingredient quantities and batch accuracy

• Maintain production records and complete required documentation

• Perform quality checks on dough and mixed products

• Clean and sanitize mixing equipment and work areas

• Follow GMP, food safety, and workplace safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Mixer Operator in a bakery or food manufacturing environment preferred

• Ability to follow recipes and production instructions accurately

• Basic math and measuring skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift

• Working in a bakery production environment
