CNC Lathe Machine Operator

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Machine Operator to join the manufacturing team of our client located in Mississauga. In this role, you will be responsible for loading materials, executing pre-programmed cycles, monitoring the machining process, and ensuring finished parts meet quality standards. Please note: This is an operator-only position; no programming or complex manual G-code writing is required. The hourly pay rate for this role is competitive and will be evaluated based directly on your hands-on experience with CNC lathe machinery.

Must-Have Skills and Experience

• Experience: Proven experience safely operating CNC Lathe machines in a production environment.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Measurement Tools: Proficiency using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to check part dimensions.
• Quality Control: Strong attention to detail to identify defects and ensure parts match specifications.
• Safety Focus: Strict adherence to workshop safety protocols and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
