Blanchard Grinder Operator / Buffing

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Blanchard Grinder Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating rotary surface grinders (Blanchard-type) and the ability to grind and measure parts to precise finish and size specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a Blanchard (rotary surface) grinder to achieve required part dimensions and surface finishes
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Perform routine maintenance on grinding equipment and ensure machines operate efficiently
• Monitor the grinding process and make necessary adjustments for accuracy and quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating a Blanchard or similar rotary surface grinder
• Strong understanding of grinding principles, materials, and tolerances
• Ability to perform precise measurements and quality checks
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and efficiency

Compensation:
