Junior Cabinet Maker / Fabrication Shop Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior Cabinet Maker / Fabrication Shop Assistant to join our client’s manufacturing facility. In this role, you will support fabrication team with the production and assembly of custom millwork, cabinetry, and experiential builds. This role is ideal for someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with building and assembling custom cabinetry and millwork
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Read and follow shop drawings and measurements
• Sand, prep, and finish materials as required
• Support loading, unloading, and general shop organization
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist senior fabricators and installers on various projects

Qualifications:

• Basic woodworking or cabinet making experience preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working with tools and machinery
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to lift and move materials when required
• Experience in custom fabrication, event builds, or millwork is considered an asset. #AES3#
